Every year HMRC expects a tax return. If you’re a sole trader or partner, that’s a Self Assessment return (and partnerships file a partnership return too). If you run a limited company, you must submit a Corporation Tax (CT600) return, and company directors may also need a Self Assessment return.

Need one of our Tax Return Services?

Tax doesn’t have to be stressful. Whether you’re a sole trader, landlord, director, partner, or have multiple income streams, we’ll prepare and file your return correctly and on time. We make sure allowable expenses and reliefs are claimed, explain everything, and keep you ahead of HMRC deadlines, so there are no surprises.

Our experienced team of Tax Return accountants here at Findlay Todd can complete this for you so you have the peace of mind that it will be completed correctly, and on time.

How our Tax Return services work

We begin with a quick fact-find to map your income sources (employment, self-employment, rentals, dividends, interest, capital gains and anything overseas). Next, we tidy the records, confirm what’s deductible, and calculate your liability, factoring in allowances, losses, and payments on account. Once you’re happy, we file electronically to HMRC, provide a clear tax summary with payment dates, and set reminders so next year is smoother. If you want ongoing help, we’ll also set you up with simple digital record-keeping (usually Xero) so everything stays organised throughout the year.
